Internship in Espoo’s Urban Environment Sector

Espoo’s Urban Environment Sector offers internships to students in different fields. Their tasks are related to city planning, public works, city-owned premises, building control activities and environmental health care. Our interns get to do real work and help build the future Espoo – a rapidly growing city surrounded by nature.

What kinds of internships are available?

Espoo’s Urban Environment Sector offers internships to students in different fields, such as engineering, architecture and land surveying. We also offer internships in street and park maintenance, environmental protection and environmental health care, property management and cleaning.

You can also write your thesis as our intern. If you have an interesting topic in mind, don’t hesitate to tell us about it in your application.

Many of our internships require a sufficient knowledge of Finnish.

Our internships are usually paid. Each intern’s tasks and salary are agreed on separately depending on the progress of their studies.
