Do you want to find the paths that should be taken into account when integrating into Finnish culture and working life? Do you also want to enjoy music performances, keynote, interactive music and circus workshops, networking, and fun activities?

Let us show you reasons to fall in love with Espoo at the Hello Espoo event. There will be music performances, interactive workshops and engaging activities for you and your family. You can meet and discuss with different units of the city of Espoo and organizations about their activities from living and working at Espoo to education, well-being and leisure. You can ask us about your hometown (or future hometown), Espoo.

We prioritise non-profit and community-oriented organisations as service providers.

Visitor Info

The event is open to everyone, and you can join whenever it suits you. Please remember to register in advance – you can use the same form to register your whole family or group.

The event will be multilingual: the main languages are English and Easy Finnish, and many other languages will also be present. Staff and service providers will wear name tags showing which languages they speak. The main presentations and introductions will be held in English.

Monikko School Centre is located in Leppävaara, about 800 metres (a 10-minute walk) from Leppävaara train station.

🚶 We recommend arriving on foot, by bike, or by public transport, as parking spaces are limited.

🚆 Trains: Local trains E, U, S and A stop at Leppävaara. From the station, you can walk along Leppävaaran raitti directly to the school.

🚌 Buses: Several bus lines pass through Leppävaara. The nearest stop is Veräjäpelto, about 200 metres from the school.

🚗 Arriving by car: There is limited parking near the school. You may use the public disc parking spaces next to the nearby sports hall and swimming hall.

Please note: Parking is not allowed in front of the main entrance of the building – this area is a rescue route.

You can register for the event at the information desk on the entrance floor – it’s located straight ahead from the main doors.

At the info desk, you’ll also receive the event programme and a map, and you can ask for more details about the evening.

If you prefer not to be photographed during the event, please let us know when you register.

🧩 Workshops and different activities are located throughout the school – check the map and programme for details.

☕ Coffee service is available in the cafeteria on the 1st floor, and all participants are welcome to enjoy it.

📚 Information about Espoo’s services is available at service fair areas – feel free to ask questions, have conversations, and take materials with you.

🩺 First Aid
There is a Finnish Red Cross first aid station at the event, where you can get help and advice in case of injury or medical emergency.
The first aid station is located on the 1st floor, and staff can be identified by their red vests.

🛡️ Security
A security guard will be present at the event to ensure the safety of the audience. The security guard can be identified by the yellow vest.

👶 Children’s Safety
Children remain under the supervision of their guardians during the event.
If your child goes missing, please contact a member of the event staff.
