Service description

Take two months to focus on yourself and your career!

Career Club is a career development programme that consists of 12 group sessions once a week. In these sessions, participants and guests from different organizations practice working life skills and discuss career-related topics together.

Previous participants report that Career Club helped them move forward with their career development, broadened their networks, and improved their knowledge on, e.g., working cultures in Finland, job-hunting, and interview preparation. As of May 2025, over 240 professionals and 150 guests have participated in the Espoo Career Club.

We have designed our programme for professionals who are looking for methods, tools and frameworks to take action for themselves. Also, we promise we’ll have (a lot of) fun!

The Espoo Career Club is free of charge and our activities are in English.

Benefits of the Career Club

How do I join Career Club?

You need to apply and go through a selection process to join a Career Club cohort.

To participate, you must fulfill the basic requirements:

  • Be highly educated (at least 3 years in the higher education system)
  • Live in Espoo
  • Have a sufficient level of English to take part in our discussions and read our material

We will select the participants based on the order of application and the content of your application form (requirements, your goals and motivation).

Our programme rounds have limited seats, and around 20-40% of applicants get a spot. Make sure that you fill in your application form properly and share with us what you want to get out of the programme!

After the application period, we will contact pre-selected candidates for a short phone interview. Decisions are sent a few weeks before the programme starts.

Nationality, unemployment status, gender, age or area of expertise are not criteria to get in. All highly educated people living in Espoo are welcome to apply.
