Best Meal of the 75 Years of School Meals Celebration Now Chosen
In the beginning of October, Espoo Catering celebrated the 75th anniversary of school meals by serving “The Best of All Time in a Week” - favourite foods from different decades. During the week, students all across Espoo voted for the best lunch served that week in the Best of the Best voting. Now the results are here!
The winner is the representative of school meals from 2010s: chicken nuggets!
Here’s how the five favourites did in the voting:
- Chicken nuggets - 48%
- Rice porridge - 18%
- Spinach pancakes - 14%
- Salmon soup, ice cream for dessert - 13%
- Macaroni casserole - 7%
The winning meal will have its own day on the Spring menu.
