Matinkylä artificial ice field is about 100x68 metres in size.

The area has warm locker rooms and toilet facilities. The field also has a walled ice hockey rink, where using sticks is allowed. The rink has hockey goals. In addition to this, the field has a free ice skating area where using sticks is not allowed.
The field can be used free of charge. Skating in the field is at your own risk.
Cafeteria Ilmatar serves customers on the second floor of the Ilmatar Arena.
Parking spots are available in Matinkylä Sports Park.

Day before Christmas Eve: Dec. 23, 2025 - 8.00-21.00 The changing rooms are open until 6 pm. The lights are on until 9 pm.
Christmas Eve: Dec. 24, 2025 - 8.00-21.00 Lights are on until 9 pm. Changing rooms are closed, no staff. Ploughing only in the morning.
New Year's Eve: Dec. 31, 2025 - 8.00-21.00 The changing rooms are open until 6 pm. The lights are on until 9 pm.
