Kuninkaantie general upper secondary school is an information technology and media focused school located in the Espoo centre. The school has modern and well-functioning teaching and sports premises, equipment, programs and most importantly a positive atmosphere for studying. In addition to everyday studies, the students carry out different projects and celebrates theme days related to the media and internationality, for example. Our active student association arranges different events and unofficial theme days as well.
We are a successfull and caring school. Our matriculation examination results have been extremely good. In addition, we take care of our students and support their studies in many ways. Feedback through student polls tells that our school is a place to enjoy.
The ict- and media-weighted curriculum is diversely present. The Kruunun Takaa (Behind the Crown) -webmagazine tells about the operations of and the work done in the school. The Median maailma (World of media) -course familiarized the student with different media. One can choose from 6 multi-media courses and 5 information technology courses. In visual arts, the provide courses on digital photography, image processing and animation. The themes are part of many other courses as well.
