Westend winter swimming spot
The Westend winter swimming spot is located at the Westend beach by the Waterfront Walkway close to Länsiväylä.
There are heated changing rooms for men and women, divided by a partition wall.
Starting from 1 September 2026, a winter swimming wristband will be introduced at the winter swimming sites maintained by the City of Espoo. The winter swimming wristband provides access to the heated changing facilities maintained by the city at the winter swimming sites located on Espoo's seaside beaches. There are no saunas, showers or toilets.
On the long jetty, there is a wind shelter with a heated floor panel and heated steps leading into the water. A pump keeps the water circulating and the hole in the ice open.
Parking spaces are available along Kuninkaansatama.
Winter swimming season starts 1 September and ends 31 May.
