Haukilahti winter swimming spot
The Haukilahti winter swimming spot is located at the sheltered Haukilahti beach by the Waterfront Walkway.
On the jetty, there is a wind shelter with a heated floor panel and heated steps leading into the water. A pump keeps the water circulating and the hole in the ice open.
There are heated changing rooms for men and women. Both changing rooms have their own entrance. There are no saunas or showers.
Starting from 1 September 2026, a winter swimming wristband will be introduced at the winter swimming sites maintained by the City of Espoo. The winter swimming wristband provides access to the heated changing facilities maintained by the city at the winter swimming sites located on Espoo's seaside beaches. The nearest parking spaces are in the Mellstenintie parking area near the beach.
Winter swimming season: 1 September to 31 May.
