Martinkallion koulu

In Martinkallion koulu we all work together, we learn and grow in a safe and supportive atmosphere of joy. We encourage our students and their parents to participate in the planning and development of our school work. Studies and activities in our school is based on values which support life and learning, for example, respect for life, honesty, tolerance, sustainable development, responsibility and goal-orientation. We participate in the Eco-Schools Programme which aims to raise students`awareness of environmental and related sustainable development issues. In Finland, the programme is run under the name Vihreä lippu, Green flag. Our school is also a member of the European Network of Health Promoting Schools. This is based on a social model of health which emphasizes both the entire organization of the schools as well as the individual.
