Järvenperän koulu

Järvenperä School is a lower secondary school in Espoo, built in the year 2000. Our school has approximately 450 students and about 70 staff members.

The vision of Järvenperä School is The Joy of Learning. This means that our everyday activities emphasize creativity, participation, a sense of belonging, and support for learning, as well as valuing and fostering individual strengths.

We consider it important that diverse learning support and strong assistance are every student's right.

Our school has a focus on mathematics and natural sciences (LUMA). Admission to the LUMA program is based on an entrance exam held annually in the spring.

Students' learning is supported through flexible forms of special education and in the school's own small class.

In addition, we provide instruction in functional areas for students with intellectual disabilities.
