Summer jobs

Ohjaamotalo’s Starttipiste offers guidance to young people looking for a summer job. The staff can advise you on how to write a job application and a CV. You can find Starttipiste’s opening hours here.

In 2025, the summer job voucher is intended for young Espoo residents born between 2006 and 2010. The City of Espoo will pay EUR 300 to all employers who hire a young Espoo resident between 1 May and 30 September using a summer job voucher. Read more about the summer job voucher here. 

Each year, the City of Espoo distributes Nuori Espoo entrepreneurship vouchers (EUR 300) to 13–28-year-old Espoo residents. In order to receive an entrepreneurship voucher, you must take an entrepreneurship course or otherwise demonstrate the required knowledge and skills. Young people’s entrepreneurship courses are organised by Espoo’s 4H association.

The City of Espoo offers summer jobs to about 400 young people each year. Information on summer jobs will be published from the end of January, and new jobs will become available for application throughout the spring.
