For schools and kindergartens
Museums at Exhibition Centre WeeGee offer different experiences for schoolchildren and kindergarteners.
Admission to the museums
Admission to WeeGee is free of charge for everybody under the age of 18. Teachers may enter for free with the group. Teachers with a valid group booking for their group can come to prepare for the visit free of charge. A complimentary ticket can be obtained at the ticket office by presenting the booking details.
Snacks and dining
There is a space for eating your own snacks on the basement floor of the exhibition centre. The museums also provide spaces for eating snacks whenever possible. You cannot eat your own snacks in the lobby or the café, and foods and drinks are not allowed in the exhibition spaces. You can ask for more information at the information desk and in the museums.
KULPS – a culture and sports path
The KULPS cultural path is Espoo’s cultural education plan, which consists of cultural and artistic content. The content is created as part of the children’s school day and education. The cultural path promotes children’s equal opportunity to participate in making, experiencing and interpreting art and culture. The activities are carried out age-appropriately and in a child-oriented manner. The KULPS cultural path is free of charge for teachers and pupils.
Exhibition Centre WeeGee offers guided KULPS tours of the Mauri Kunnas exhibition for preschool and basic education groups. There are three KULPS packages from which to choose: character creation workshop, story workshop and Mauri Kunnas guiding. Read more about the packages and enrolling here.
You can find the booking form also here(external link, opens in a new window).
For kindergartens
Kindergartens in Espoo can book a self-guided, free visit to the Mauri Kunnas exhibition outside the opening hours of the Exhibition Centre WeeGee. We will open registration again in fall 2025.
