History and diverse nature meet in Träskända manor park. The manor park is a nationally valuable cultural and historical environment and one of the oldest nature reserves in Espoo. Cultural and historical values come together in the manor park’s old broad-leved trees and many rare tree and shrub species, as well as fauna. The manor grounds also include an exceptionally extensive landscape park that has remained mostly in its original form.

The construction of the manor park began in the 18th century but it gained its current appearance in the mid-19th century during the time of Aurora Karamzin, when Träskända was among the most magnificent manors in Finland. The current Baroque Revival main building was completed in 1921. The facade of the main building was renovated in 2022–2023. The park is home to Espoo’s thickest single-trunk oak, with a circumference of roughly 5.5 metres. The tree has been estimated to be over 300 years old.

The manor park is a popular outdoor area and an important local environment for the area’s residents. Various events are organised in the park, and the nature trail built in the park forest is an excellent environment for a variety of nature experiences.
