Shoreline of Ruukinranta residential area
Local detailed plansTapiolaRuukinranta is an estate consisting of detached houses located to the east of Kehä I and south of Turunväylä. Up until now, it has not been included in local detailed plans, but this will now change. Including the area in a local detailed plan will facilitate complementary construction through a normal building permit process. The planning area used to be a part of the detailed plan proposal #250100, Ruukinranta-Tarvaspää, which was available for public review in spring 2017. The planning area has been reduced so that it only covers the shoreline of the previous planning area, with the exception of the Tarvaspää museum area. The City Planning Committee approved the detailed plan proposal to be presented to the City Board on 10 October 2018. The negotiations on land use agreements are underway for the area.
