Ring II traffic areas as street areas

Background information

The current party responsible for the maintenance of the road, the Uusimaa Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, has informed the City of Espoo that the part responsible for the maintenance of the road believes that Ring II between Turunväylä and Turunväylä should be designated as a street in the detailed plan and converted into an administrative street area. The share of Ring II between Turunväylä and Turuntie is not a regionally significant connection in the target state of the road network. The road section in question mainly serves local traffic and is therefore a road section pursuant to Section 83 of the Land Use and Building Act that will become a street area.
