Renovation of Vuoritonttu playground

Project description
The playground is located in Tontunmäki, Vuoritontunpuisto. The playground that is already in use will be renovated and new lighting will be built on the adjacent park route.
The work will begin by dismantling the equipment and clearing some of the vegetation. The foundations for the new play equipment will be dug and installed. For example, a sandbox, a swing, a slide, a multi-purpose toy and benches for spending time by the playground will be installed on the playground. Wooden chips will be used as a safety surface to soften any falls.
The fence alignment of the playground will be changed. Fence structures will be dismantled and a new fence will be installed according to the new alignment. As finishing work tasks, two ornamental trees will be planted on the playground and the surfaces will be landscaped with a grass area and a mixture of meadow plant seeds.
The construction site area will be marked with traffic signs and construction site fences. There will be cars and machinery moving around the construction site and its vicinity.
The construction site will be closed during summer holidays in July–August
