Refurbishment of the Pyölinmäki playground
ParksLeppävaaraThe City of Espoo is about to start planning the refurbishment of the Pyölinmäki playground (old name Trillapuisto playground) in Kilo.

Design
The aim is to improve the safety of the playground and to make it more attractive. Those playground equipment and furniture which are in bad shape will be replaced and the new playground equipment will be chosen based on the needs and wishes of children of all ages.
A resident survey organised at the beginning of the planning allowed the residents to express their wishes and opinions regarding the playground. The idea was to use the feedback received in the design of the playground.
Based on the responses and other feedback, a draft plan for the playground has now been prepared, available at the bottom of this page under “Downloads”. The draft includes a plan image of the area and a presentation of the play equipment and furniture (in Finnish).
Attached is also a report of the results of the resident survey which also consists of responses on how the feedback was taken into account in preparing the draft plan. (in Finnish)
We would now like your comments on the draft plan. You can give feedback by email to annika.kemppainen@espoo.fi between Monday 28th of September and Sunday 11th of October.
After that, the plan will be finalised and approved. The refurbishment will be carried out in the oncoming years.
