Refurbishment of the Pitkännotko playground

The aim is to improve the safety of the playground and to make it more attractive. Those playground equipment and furniture which are in bad shape will be replaced and the new playground equipment will be chosen based on the needs and wishes of children of all ages.

The plan should be completed by the end of 2025, and the refurbishment will be carried out in the oncoming years. 

A survey has been published to allow residents to express their views and wishes regarding the playground. The survey (available in Finnish) will be open until Friday 31st of January 2025 and can be found here.(external link, opens in a new window)

Based on the answers, a refurbishment plan will be drawn up, which will be available for public to view on this page.  We will also compile a report on the survey responses and publish it on this page.
