Refurbishment of the Jupperin rantapuisto playground
ParksLeppävaaraThe City of Espoo has started planning the refurbishment of the Jupperin rantapuisto playground. The aim is to improve the safety of the playground and to make it more attractive.

A resident survey organised at the beginning of the planning in spring of 2024 allowed the residents to express their wishes and opinions regarding the state of the existing playground and the renovation project. The idea was to use the feedback received in the design of the playground.
The planning of the playground was delayed due to the planning schedule for the adjacent stormwater basin, but a draft plan for the playground has now been completed.
A draft plan for the playground has now been prepared, available at the bottom of this page under “Downloads” (in Finnish). The draft includes a plan image of the area and a presentation of the play equipment and furniture. Attached is also a report of the results of the resident survey which also consists of responses on how the feedback was taken into account in preparing the draft plan. (in Finnish)

Any questions will be answered between July 6th and July 10th and between July 27th and July 31st.
After that, the plan will be finalised and approved.
The refurbishment will be carried out in the autumn of 2026.
