Refurbishment of the Jupperin rantapuisto playground

The aim is to improve the safety of the playground and to make it more attractive. A fence will be built around the playground and those playground equipment and furniture which are in bad shape will be replaced. The new playground equipment will be chosen based on the needs and wishes of children of all ages.

The plan should be completed in 2026, and the refurbishment will be carried out in the oncoming years. 

A survey was published in May-June of 2024 to allow residents to express their views and wishes regarding the playground. The survey (available in Finnish) was open until Sunday 30st of June 2024.

Based on the answers, a draft plan will be drawn up, which will be available for public review and comment on this same page.  After the public review, the plan will be finalised and the final plan will be published on this page.
