Preliminary assessment of stormwater flood risks 2024
Streets and trafficThe whole EspooThe City of Espoo has reviewed the preliminary assessment of stormwater flood risks for 2024. According to the Flood Risk Management Act (620/2010, section 20), the preliminary assessment of flood risks and the designation of significant flood risk areas are reviewed as necessary every six years. The assessment is based on the 2018 assessment, as well as expert reviews and interviews. The assessment addresses changes in the city’s land use and stormwater management measures.

EspooThe preliminary assessment of stormwater flood risks 2024 is available for public review from 4 October to 1 November during office hours in the exhibition room of the Public Works Department’s customer service point (Tekniikantie 15, 02150 Espoo) and on the city’s website.
