Local detailed plansLeppävaara

It is proposed that the permitted building volume of two blocks on Hempontie in Pohjois-Leppävaara will be increased to the level of the surrounding area so that the green nature of the area and existing green environment are preserved. It is estimated that the plan’s participation and assessment scheme and preparation materials will be available for public review in the autumn of 2026.

Summary

The permitted building volume of two blocks on Hempontie in Pohjois-Leppävaara will be increased to correspond to the surrounding permitted building volume. The hedges and vegetation along the street, the green parks and the trees in the area form an important part of the area’s cityscape. These values will be taken into account in the planning process. The City Museum considers that the construction of the area is already fragmented, and there is no need to protect any buildings.
