Leppävaara Sports Park
ParksLeppävaaraLeppävaara Sports Park is the largest of Espoos seven sports parks. The sports park is easily accessible on foot from Leppävaara station along the renovated Leppävaaranraitti. International athletics competitions have been organised at the sports stadium. The football and skating fields are in active professional and recreational use. The Leppävaara swimming pool offers opportunities for a variety of swimming activities, and the warm water of the outdoor swimming pool can be enjoyed from early spring until late autumn.

Veräjäpellonkatu 17, 02650 EspooThe Leppävara sports park complex has plenty of illuminated outdoor trails, fitness tracks and ski trails for the whole family. The ski trail network also offers opportunities for organising national-level ski competitions.
The services at Leppävaara Sports Park have been improved by building the Kameleonten multisport hall next to the stadium. Football is played on the artificial turf surface at the Maantienkenttä field next to the hall in the summer, and in the winter the field is frozen for ice skaters. In addition, the area has tennis courts and a new local sports area with a pump track. The park experience is completed by a space-themed playground and a skateboard and scooter park, finished in 2014 next to the Leppävaara sports square, which quickly developed into one of Espoo’s most popular leisure spots.
