Local detailed plansEspoon keskusThe objective is to facilitate the construction of a day care centre and new dwellings on the wooded hill west of Sunantie. The area is located close to the services in Espoon keskus and transport connections. The plan proposal is available for public review from 19.10.2026 to 17.11.2026. You can review the material on the Finnish site for the plan under Ehdotusvaihe (Proposal Stage) and Selvitykset ja suunnitelmat (Reports and Plans). The plan is estimated to proceed to the approval stage in autumn 2027.

Residents’ event 27/10/2026 at 17-19: We will hold an information and discussion event on the plan for the residents of the plan area and anyone else interested in the plan at Jalavapuisto school cafeteria. Additional information
By decision of the City Planning Committee on 30 September 2026, the area designated for the apartment block proposed along Sunantie was removed from the Kiltaveljenmäki zoning plan. This part of the area is no longer included in the Kiltaveljenmäki plan area. The Veljeskallio local detailed plan and its amendment were divided in two on 14 October 2016: they were assigned the names Kiltaportti plan amendment (in force), and in the case of this more extensive, eastern area, Kiltaveljenmäki.
