Expanding a supermarket in Vanttila

There are not enough supermarkets in the greater Kauklahti area. The area’s residents often have to use supermarkets located farther away. The aim of the detailed planning is to add more supermarkets in Kauklahti.

The expansion of K-Supermarket Lasihytti is currently being planned. The plan amendment area is located on Kauklahdenväylä. The aim of the plan amendment is to increase the supermarket volume without increasing the current permitted building volume of the area. The proximity of the Espoonjoki river and the impact of the expansion on the cityscape must be taken into account in the planning.
