An amendment to the detailed plan will facilitate the construction of a substation to serve the needs of the greater Espoonlahti area. At this stage, the area’s property boundaries will be reviewed. The planning will also ensure that there is space left for possible future additional lanes to Länsiväylä and noise protection along the highway, and that the flying squirrel’s canopy connection to other core areas is secured in the planning area parallel to Länsiväylä. The participation and assessment scheme and preparation material are available for public review 20.10 - 18.11.2025.
