Summary

The initial aim of the planning is to improve the accessibility of Högkopplan Island as an area for recreation, services and tourism. The aim is to develop the island into a high-quality tourist destination.

The current permitted building volume for the island of Högkopplan does not support the island’s future objectives. There are plans to increase the permitted building volume so that new villas can be built on the island.

The aim is to develop the island as a villa area in a way that is in keeping with the character of the Suvisaaristo archipelago. The values of the natural, landscape and cultural environments are being taken into account in the planning process.
