Complementary construction in Tapiola’s central blocks

The amendment to the local detailed plan will facilitate the complementary construction of new homes, as well as commercial, office and service facilities, in the centre of Tapiola. The aim is to increase the number of homes close to good public transport connections and services, in the immediate vicinity of the metro station and bus terminal. The area is an integral part of Tapiola’s central pedestrian zone. To the south, the amendment area is bordered by Länsituuli pedestrian street, and to the north by Länsituulenaukio square. The plan amendment is undergoing an approval process.
