In early June, visitors can enjoy a diverse programme over five days in the courtyard of the WeeGee Exhibition Centre. All events are free and open to everyone.

In early June, visitors can enjoy a diverse programme over five days in the courtyard of the WeeGee Exhibition Centre. All events are free and open to everyone. Performances take place during museum opening hours, making it easy to combine concerts with visits to EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art, KAMU Espoo City Museum, the Mauri Kunnas exhibition, and the Futuro House, which is open to the public during summer.

3 June – Sonia
Sonia is a rising artist who captivates audiences with a soulful, honeyed voice. Performing with a band, she follows intuition and feeling on stage—making every show unique.
3 June – LEAK
Radiating attitude and confidence, LEAK is a concept and dance collective from AAT. Creative, featuring some of Finland’s top dancers. They will host a dance session and perform.
5 June – Superposition
This jazz supergroup features drummer Olavi Louhivuori, saxophonists Linda Fredriksson and Adele Sauros, and bassist Mikael Saastamoinen. Internationally recognised, the group is known for its intense live performances.
7 June – Family Day
Family Day offers music, glitter, and workshops. Children’s music group Leimu performs animal-themed songs, while Whosagoodsong presents custom-made songs about pets. The programme also includes glitter tattoos, giant soap bubbles, balloon animals, and two workshops in the museum spaces.
9 June – Asla Jo
Asla Jo is among the most exciting names in the Finnish indie scene. They have been nominated for YleX Breakthrough Artist and won the Queer Song of the Year award with “Pussailen tyttöjen kaa.”
9 June – kaio
kaio is an emerging indie pop artist whose work centres on lyrical storytelling rooted in personal experience, aiming to resonate with others. Their biggest sources of inspiration are the queer community and love.
11 June – Modem
After long careers in the Finnish punk and indie underground, Tytti Roto and Ville Valavuo found a shared interest in electronic pop and 1980s synthetic soundscapes, leading to the formation of Modem.
11 June – Sattalite
Sattalite is a hyperpop artist known for highly energetic live performances and an otherworldly sound. They are unapologetically themselves and actively promote social justice.
The events are part of the City of Espoo’s Pride celebrations. In addition to the outdoor concerts, the exhibition centre offers an extensive Pride programme organised by EMMA and KAMU. The events follow the City of Espoo’s safer space principles.
