Experts from the City of Espoo’s Employment Services come to your company to hear about your situation and needs. During the visit, we work together to find solutions, for example in recruitment and competence needs.
We spoke with Anssi Heimonen, a specialist at Espoo Employment Services, about company visits.
What does “invite us for a visit” actually involve?
We come to your company to learn about your situation and needs. Our goal is to find the most suitable solutions and services for your business, especially when it comes to competence needs. After the meeting, your company will have direct contact with Espoo Employment Services for any future needs.
Why should a company invite you for a visit?
We support companies, especially in recruitment and growing their teams. We serve each client individually based on their specific situation and needs. We offer financial support opportunities, help in organising recruitment events, support in business changes, as well as advisory and networking services.
What happens during the visit in practice?
We start by discussing your company’s situation and needs. After that, we look at relevant services offered by the City of Espoo and the Business Espoo network.
Finally, we agree with the next steps.
What kind of support does Espoo Employment Services provide for recruitment or competence needs?
We offer a tailored candidate search service. The service is free of charge.
We begin with a kick-off meeting where we define the required skills and other key recruitment criteria. Based on this, we search for the most suitable candidates among jobseekers in Espoo and Kauniainen. We interview candidates and present candidates to the employer. The employer makes the final recruitment decision.
What kind of feedback have you received?
We have received positive feedback from employers on our proactive way of working, the quality of candidates, and, in some cases, exceeding expectations.
We have also received positive feedback from jobseekers, who have been particularly pleased that we have made their job search easier and strengthened their confidence in finding employment.
As an area for development, we have received feedback on the complexity of applying for employment-related financial support.
