Espoonlahti ice stadium’s roofing to be replaced in summer
The roof coverings of the Espoonlahti ice stadium Forum (Espoonlahdentie 2–4) will be replaced during the summer of 2026.
The work will start at the end of May and continue until early August. The contractor is Varsinaisbitumi Oy Etelä-Suomi. During the repairs, new bituminous membrane roofing will be installed and the entire rainwater system will be replaced.
The construction site will be fenced off for safety reasons, and a small section of the parking lot will be reserved for the contractor’s site cabin and for storage purposes. The building’s entrances and doorways will remain open throughout the construction work.
Most of the roofing repair work will be done outside of the building. During the project, summer maintenance work will be done inside the building as planned.
