This year, May Day in Espoo Järvenperä is louder than ever!

The May Day celebration at the Aurora Children’s Cultural Centre gets a heavy rock boost as the Kings of Jura Metal – Hevisaurus – take the stage.

Mister Hevisaurus, Milli Pilli, Muffi Puffi, Komppi Momppi and Riffi Raffi deliver a colourful and energetic show for audiences of all ages. Since 2009, Hevisaurus has charmed listeners with catchy melodies, humorous stories and high-energy performances. The band, formed by four dinosaurs and one dragon, has become a true phenomenon in Finnish children’s music, drawing enthusiastic crowds year after year.

The show features beloved favourites and a visually impressive performance full of rhythm, colour and cheerful energy.
Delicious May Day treats are sold by the lovely Play Cafe. This year there’s no additional program offered at the event.

“We’re expecting many enthusiastic dinosaur fans to join us, as all children under the age of 2 can enter the event free of charge. We’ve been celebrating the joyful spring festival of May Day here at Aurora since year 2012", summarizes cultural producer Miia Salminen.
