“The success of Espoo-based companies on the Kasvupolku programme shows that we have an exceptionally strong and diverse business ecosystem. In Espoo, companies have access to support and networks at all stages of growth, from idea to international expansion. We want to help enable exactly these kinds of growth leaps”, says Marika Lostedt, Head of Business Services.
Kasvupolku offers coaching and new opportunities
The Kasvupolku programme jury selected the companies based on their applications, evaluating factors such as market potential, growth capability, team strength, and demonstrated results. The selections also emphasized companies’ ability to identify their own development areas and their willingness to seek coaching to support growth.
Kasvupolku offers companies tailored coaching, valuable contacts, and new collaboration opportunities. The programme culminates in the Kasvu Open Carnival in Jyväskylä on October 28, 2026, where the Growth Company of the Year will be selected from among the participants.
There is good reason to be proud of Espoo’s local business community: companies in the city account for a significant share of Finland’s patents, employ a wide range of experts, and build sustainable growth for the future. Espoo is developing into an internationally significant and competitive innovation ecosystem, where research, product development, commercialization, and scaling form a strong continuum. The companies selected for Kasvupolku once again demonstrate that Espoo acts as a driver of productivity and renewal far beyond its size.
