Espoo NGO Day brings together organisations and partners at Lippulaiva Library on 1 October 2026
The traditional Espoo NGO Day brings together organisations, city employees and other partners for an inspiring programme filled with learning and idea-sharing. Espoo NGO Day will be held at the Lippulaiva Library on Thursday 1 October 2026 from 13:00 to 19:00.
The theme of this year’s NGO Day is Strength Through Collaboration. The goal is to increase understanding of the role of organisations in supporting the wellbeing of Espoo residents and to offer participants opportunities to meet, share experiences and explore new forms of collaboration.
Last year, the event brought together nearly 100 participants.
The event will provide up-to-date information on the activities of the participating organisations and perspectives and tools for smoother cooperation between different operators. The programme includes engaging speeches, encounters and discussions, as well as plenty of opportunities to build cooperation partnerships and discover new perspectives. The day will culminate in the announcement of Espoo’s NGO Achievement of the Year. The honourable mention highlights exemplary organisational work and successful collaboration in Espoo.
Espoo NGO Day is open to all Espoo-based organisations, city employees and other parties interested in collaboration. Visitors to the library will also have the opportunity to explore the participating organisations’ stands, learn about their services and discover volunteering opportunities.
