Apply to organise esports hobbies for lower secondary school students for fall 2026! Call for tenders now open
The City of Espoo’s Esports Hobby Path project is seeking sports clubs and other operators to participate in piloting esports hobbies for young people in lower secondary school.
The project is part of the national Get Finland Moving programme and is closely linked to the Finnish Model for Leisure Activities (HSM) as well as Espoo’s own hobby path activities. Its goal is to find ways to inspire young people to engage in organised esports activities, improve their friendship skills and create a safe and communal hobby environment.
The project offers free and accessible hobby opportunities for lower secondary school students through pilots.
We are seeking esports hobby activities that support young people’s engagement and long-term commitment to a hobby pathway. Short trial periods will be implemented between 21 September and 27 November 2026.
The call for tenders for hobbies is now open and will close on 17 May 2026 at 23:59.
You can now offer hobby activities via Webropol-form(external link, opens in a new window).
