The new reservation system changes how school facilities are applied for
The City of Espoo’s facility and course reservation system will change. The new system will be introduced in summer 2026. Residents can use the system to reserve sports facilities, school and youth spaces, camp centers, and various courses.
The general application period for regular reservations of school premises – meaning school premises other than sports premises – for the 2026–2027 school year will take place in the new system starting from June 2026. In the old system, reservations can only be applied for the spring term of 2026. Separate information regarding the application schedules for sports and youth facilities has already been provided to current users.
The system change will not affect the already agreed reservations for basic art education institutions, Omnia or Arbis. The aim is also to ensure that other regular users of school premises can keep the same recurring reservations that they have been granted for the current school year.
