Kirkkojärventie bridge opens to traffic

The renovation of the Kirkkojärventie bridge in Espoon keskus and the work on the retaining walls of the future bicycle and pedestrian path and the railway line running under the bridge began on 5 May 2025, and the bridge was closed to all traffic. The bridge closure is part of the Espoo Rail Line construction project.

The bridge repair work has progressed, and the bridge will be opened to traffic on 31 March. After the opening, some minor finishing work will still be carried out.
