It’s time for clean-up events!
A clean-up event is an easy way to make your local environment more attractive. A clean environment is pleasing to the eye and the mind.
In the spring, autumn or anytime
It is almost time for this spring’s clean-up events. At spring clean-up events, volunteers pick up paper, beverage cans, bottles and other litter from the city’s public areas. Plant waste, sticks, hazardous waste or electronic waste are not collected at spring clean-up events.
At autumn clean-up events, volunteers pick up litter that has been left in the environment over the summer. You can pick up litter from forests, parks, riversides and roadsides in the city’s public areas.
If you want to help keep your local area clean at any time of the year, you can sign up for a litter clean-up event. The city will provide you with rubbish bags and litter grippers.

The sign-up form is available until 31 May. After the summer break, you can sign up from 3 August until 30 September. In 2026, clean-up events can be organised between 1 April and 5 June and between 17 August and 30 September.
