Culture and Youth Committee approved budget allocation schemes for 2026
At its first meeting of the year, the Culture and Youth Committee approved budget allocation schemes for 2026 and decided on the provision of funding for the facility costs of the Museum of Horology and Jewellery.
The Culture and Youth Committee approved the budget allocation schemes for the Cultural Unit and Youth Services for 2026. The committee decided that the Cultural Unit will allocate funds from its budget to cover the necessary facility costs of the Finnish Museum of Horology and Jewellery Kruunu in 2026.
In addition, the committee reviewed the 2025 budget and the most recent interim report on the strategy of the Cultural Unit and Youth Services and issued a statement on a council initiative to organise alcohol-free youth discos.
