Take part in the Voxit discussion: How should organisation grants be allocated?
In February, the residents of Espoo will have an opportunity to have a say in how organisation grants should be prioritised. We will organise a Voxit discussion on this topic between 2 February and 22 February 2026. The discussion will be open to all residents.
Every year, Espoo awards grants to organisations that promote wellbeing, health and social inclusion. In recent years, the number of applications has exceeded the amount of available organisation grants. It is therefore important to hear what kind of decisions residents support.
How would you allocate the grants?
Would you prioritise, for example, the prevention of bullying, immigrant integration or activities that have been subject to the heaviest cuts to other grants?
The Voxit discussion is open to all residents of Espoo. You can participate in your native language by using the translation button.
Residents’ views will be used to support decision-making when the Sports and Wellbeing Committee decides how the grants will be allocated.
An easy, safe and inspiring way to exert influence
Voxit discussions are an easy, safe and fun way to exert influence. Participation in the discussion is anonymous and takes place online on the digital Voxit discussion platform by clicking the link to the discussion.
This is how it works:
- You vote on statements related to the topic by selecting Agree/ Disagree / Skip.
- You can also add statements of your own to the discussion. The discussion develops and takes shape when the participants vote on the statements and add new statements.
- You can respond to as many statements as you want. Your responses are saved automatically after each statement.
- You can participate in the discussion several times and vote on the new statements added to it.
- In this discussion, new statements can be added until 12 February. After this the statements that have already been added can be voted on
- The Voxit platform is accessible, secure and moderated.
