Share your ideas: How would you develop the conditions for businesses and entrepreneurship in Espoo?
The Espoo for Businesses and Entrepreneurship development programme aims to strengthen the operating conditions for businesses and entrepreneurship in Espoo. We are now looking for development ideas to implement from this year until 2028.
In the programme, we emphasize the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, startups and fast-growing scaleups, strengthening entrepreneurship skills, and building an internationally attractive innovation hub in collaboration with various partners. We support local businesses and create strong service paths together with the city organization and our partners
Between 2026 and 2028, the programme will implement several development projects and actions. These projects and actions will be carried out together with partners. The aim is for the lessons learned and new solutions developed through the projects and pilots to later be applied more broadly in the city’s and partners’ operations.

Ideas can be submitted until 9 March 2026.
Your idea should support one or more of the following goals:
- Businesses and entrepreneurship grow and develop in Espoo
- The innovation community in Espoo grows to its full potential
- Espoo’s vibrant urban spaces attract entrepreneurs and residents
- Espoo gives every young person the skills and spark to become an entrepreneur
