Olari’s new community space opened its doors
Organisations and communities are now welcome to use the new community space that has opened in Olari’s former youth centre.
Activities at Olari’s new community space began on Monday 12 January. The first day at the new community space included a remote-work hangout, and everyone interested was welcome to attend.
You can check the programme for the first week and the coming weeks on the website of the community space(external link, opens in a new window) (in Finnish). The schedule is updated weekly, and the website also contains additional information about the community space.
All organisations and associations interested in the community space are still welcome to join the activities.
The Olari community space operates in the old youth centre next to Olari Winter Garden at the Simo Järvisen aukio square. The entrance is through the glass wall on the pedestrian path side, with a ramp leading inside via the former Olari Winter Garden.
Other services in the area include Tokkovarasto, Pub Olarin Ossi and a city-owned sports facility
The City of Espoo and Espoon mielenterveysyhdistys EMY ry announced in December that a new community space would be opened in the former youth centre for free use by communities and organisations.
The purpose of the new space is to strengthen community spirit and to support the operating conditions of organisations and communities in Espoo.
