Come and meet people from Espoo's early childhood education, basic education and upper secondary education units at Educa on 23 and 24 January at Messukeskus
Espoo's Growth and Learning Sector will attend the Educa fair in Helsinki on 23 and 24 January 2026. Educa is Finland's largest teaching education event, with a varied and interesting programme and a wide range of exhibitors. Come and hear what it’s like to work for the City of Espoo and explore career opportunities available in early childhood education, basic education, and general upper secondary education.
Espoo is the capital of children and youth, surrounded by beautiful local nature. Nature education is an important part of every young Espoo resident’s learning path. In Espoo, learning takes place outdoors, in forests and on the seashore. We have built our own nature trail at Educa, so at our stand you can experience Espoo’s local nature with all your senses. Every hour, our experts will give information sessions on topics such as sustainability education and outdoor learning. At the craft station, you can build your own insect hotel. Come and meet our supervisors, employees, recruitment experts and the staff from the nature house Villa Elfvik who offer support and enthusiasm for learning in nature.
At our stand, you can also participate in a raffle, where participants can win an amazing 250 euro gift certificate to the Nuuksio Haltia Lake Lodge. The gift certificate is valid for an overnight stay and nature experiences in the lake landscapes of Nuuksio National Park.
