Seven residents’ parks open during Christmas holidays – see what’s on!

Christmas and New Year will bring changes to the parks’ opening hours. Some parks will be closed for the Christmas break, but seven parks will be open as usual, except on public holidays.

All the parks’ yard areas will remain open for independent play and recreation, also outside the opening hours. Starting from 7 January 2026, all residents’ parks will return to their normal opening hours.

All residents’ parks in Espoo will be open until Friday 19 December 2025.

During the week leading up to Christmas, many parks will host festive activities such as Christmas card workshops, elf games, and Christmas parties.

During the Christmas holidays, seven residents’ parks will be open Mon–Fri 8:00–16:00 except on public holidays. On 23 December, the parks will close early, at 15:00.

The parks offer a range of free activities, from crafts to indoor and outdoor games. Head to the park for a great family outing!
