Apply to organise esports hobbies for lower secondary school pupils for spring 2026! Call for tenders launched
The City of Espoo’s Esports Hobby Path project is seeking sports clubs and actors to participate in piloting esports hobbies for young people in lower secondary school. The goal is to create a low-threshold esports hobby path that combines esports, physical activity and wellbeing.
The project is part of the national Get Finland Moving programme and is closely linked to the Finnish Model for Leisure Activities and Espoo’s own hobby path activities. Its goal is to find new ways to inspire young people to engage in hobbies, improve their friendship skills and create a safe and communal hobby environment.
The project offers free and accessible hobby opportunities for young people in lower secondary school through pilots.
The call for tenders for hobbies is now open and will end on 2.12.2025 at 23:59.
You can now offer hobby activities via Webropol-form(external link, opens in a new window).
Project Planner Otto Takala, otto.takala@espoo.fi, is responsible for the project.
