Two growth companies from Espoo competing for the Growth Company of the Year 2025 title
Aurora Propulsion Technologies and Privaon have been selected for the final of Kasvu Open’s Growth Company of the Year 2025 competition. Both companies operate in Espoo. Ten companies from across Finland advanced to the final. The finalists were chosen from among 165 companies that participated in Kasvupolku sparring sessions.
Kasvu Open is Finland’s largest business sparring program. It supports growth-oriented and growth-capable companies in developing their business. The City of Espoo has been a long-term partner of the program, enabling companies to receive free sparring.
Espoo-based finalists impressed the jury
Aurora Propulsion Technologies(external link, opens in a new window) develops solutions for space exploration and navigation. The jury appreciated the company’s strong commercialization phase, emerging market, and cutting-edge domestic technology.
Privaon(external link, opens in a new window) provides continuous data protection services, consulting, and SaaS solutions. According to the jury, the company’s cost-effective and flexible service package meets an important need and supports the development of data protection.
Espoo supports the success of growth companies
Marika Lostedt, Head of Business Services, City of Espoo, is delighted with the success of Espoo-based companies and emphasizes the importance of collaboration.
