Espoo’s City Council meets today at 17:30.

  • Assessment report 2024. The report assesses the city’s financial statement and the realisation of the operative and financial goals.

The preliminary minutes of the City Council decisions are published on the day following the meeting (in Finnish).

This is the last meeting of the City Council elected in 2021. The new Ciyt Council, elected in April 2025, will take office at the beginning of June.

The City Council is the highest decision-making body in Espoo

A total of 75 members are elected to the City Council every four years.

The City Council is in charge of the City of Espoo’s operations and finances. It sets goals for the city and makes the most important decisions. The members elect from among themselves officials to the City Board and committees.
