Espoo’s infrastructure construction projects in 2024

The Public Works Department has produced a Power BI report(external link, opens in a new window) allowing residents and other interested parties to explore the various municipal infrastructure projects in which Espoo invested nearly EUR 138 million in 2024. The report includes filters that can be activated by clicking on them.

The municipal infrastructure construction programme includes street, park and transport projects. The largest individual project is the construction of the Espoo Rail Line, carried out in collaboration with the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency and the City of Kauniainen. Approximately 70% of the investments were allocated to projects in areas that are easily accessible by public transport.
