You can now apply for a place in a club for your child for the term 2025–2026! The application period for early childhood education clubs lasts until 31 March 2025. The club term 2025–2026 begins in Espoo on 7 August 2025 and ends on 29 May 2026.
Clubs offer diverse early childhood education activities. Children get to play, sing, do crafts, read, be physically active and spend time outdoors. At the same time, they make friends and practise many skills, such as teamwork.
Club activities are intended for 2–5-year-old children being cared for at home. The clubs are in Finnish, but all children are welcome regardless of their mother tongue. Club activities are free of charge.
The clubs are held 2–3 days a week, for 2–3 hours at a time, and the children attend the club without their guardians. The group size is usually 8–14 children, depending on the age of the children.
Club activities are organised in residents’ parks and day care centres around Espoo. Here you can see the clubs on a map.(external link, opens in a new window) Select ‘club’ to see the clubs on the map. Click on each club for more information. Read more about club activities.
