New changing rooms completed at Oittaa beach
The construction of the new changing rooms at the Oittaa beach (Kunnarlantie 33–39) has been completed. The construction project started last spring and was completed on schedule at the end of January.
During the project, toilet facilities for year-round use, as well as changing rooms and first aid and lifeguard facilities for summer use, were built in Oittaa. The building is 158 gross square metres in size and also includes outdoor showers for summer use.
The restrooms are open for residents' use every day from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The changing rooms are available for groups during winter by special arrangement. The changing rooms will be opened for everyone in the spring when the weather warms up.
The building was designed by Keiko ARK Studio Oy, and the contractor was Rakennusliike Tanerak Oy. The total budget for the project was just over EUR 800,000.
