Home Street Portal is a useful tool

The Public Works Department’s Home Street Portal has undergone several upgrades. It is an excellent tool in matters concerning your neighbourhood. It also includes links to many useful websites. Check out the new and improved Home Street Portal.
The Home Street Portal(external link, opens in a new window) contains information on street maintenance on your street. Enter the name of the street in the search field and you will get information on the maintenance activities carried out on the street during the past 36 hours. This includes snow ploughing and slipperiness prevention in the winter and grit removal in the spring. For example, you can check if your street has already been ploughed.
The portal also provides information on current and upcoming street work projects. Due to a technical issue, not all street work permits are visible on the map as they should.
In addition, the service includes a map that shows the closest playground, dog park, outdoor gym equipment, carpet washing site, allotment, electric car charging station and public parking area.
On the website, you can subscribe to the Have Your Say Now newsletter that tells you about city projects that you can currently comment on.
